Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of eventhorizonlab.com (the "Service") operated by Event Horizon Lab. By creating an account you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy.

You must be at least 16 years old and provide accurate information. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure. You may close your account at any time.

• Paid plans (e.g. Job List at $9.90/month, Pro at $49.90/month) renew automatically each month until cancelled.
• Prices are in USD and exclude any taxes your bank or jurisdiction may add.
• Verified students receive 15% off; the discount applies while your student verification is valid.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time from account settings (Stripe Customer Portal).

• Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the paid period.
• 14-day refund right (UK/EEA consumers): if you are a consumer in the UK or EEA you may request a full refund within 14 days of your first payment, even if you have used the Service, by emailing support@eventhorizonlab.com.
• Outside that window we consider refund requests case by case (e.g. duplicate charges, service outages) and refunds, if granted, are processed to the original payment method via Stripe.

Don't scrape or resell the Service's content, share account credentials, or use the Service for unlawful purposes. Job data is aggregated from public sources for your personal career search.

The Service's software, learning content, and design remain our property. Job postings belong to the posting employers and are provided for information; we are not an agent of any employer.

The Service provides information and preparation tools. We do not guarantee job offers, interview outcomes, or visa sponsorship decisions — final hiring and sponsorship decisions rest solely with employers. Visa-sponsorship indicators on the platform summarise publicly available historical information and do not constitute legal or immigration advice.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability arising from your use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

We may update these terms (see the date above). We may suspend accounts that violate these terms. If we discontinue the Service, active subscribers receive a pro-rata refund.
